Day 1: HCM- Mui Ne/ Sunset Tour/ Overnight in Mui Ne (Lunch, Dinner).
Mui Ne is Phan Thiet’s most prominent coastal resort town, spanning 15 kilometres of sandy beaches that are lined with an array of dining and shopping venues as well as luxurious beachfront resorts. Great for experiencing the daily lives of the local population, the northern end of Mui Ne Bay is home to a traditional fishing village which also offers a picturesque view of the coastline lined with swaying palm trees and colourful fishing boats moored on the water.
9:00AM Arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport, tour guide and driver will pick up and transfer you to Mui Ne beach.
12:30PM Reach Mui Ne beach, have lunch at local restaurant. After that you will check in hotel and relax for afternoon sunset tour.
3:30PM We pick you up from your hotel for Sunset tour.
- Visiting the Fairy Stream. Suoi Tien (fairy stream) where the small stream running through the middle of the red sand dunes. It is like a mini version of Red Canyon. Known mainly for its sand dunes, the small town of Mui Ne in Vietnam is also home to a soft red creek known as the Fairy Stream that is colored by the clay and limestone particles that filter in from the strange rock formations at its shore
- Visiting Red sand dunes, slopes are less steep than the White sand dunes, great opportunity for taking photo as red colour of the sand is great contrast to background scenery.
18:00PM: Have dinner at local restaurant.
Staying overnight in Mui Ne
Day 2: Mui Ne Sunset Tour /Transfer to HCM / Overnight in HCM (Lunch).
5:00 Starting Mui Ne sunrise tour.
5:35AM Visiting White sand dunes. At the top of the sand dune, catching the first sunrise of the day. Other activities can be taken: riding quad-bikes over sand dunes and ostriches riding (at own expense), sliding down sand dunes’ slopes with surfboards…
6:45AM Visiting the fishing village, observing the daily lives of fishermen, morning catch is hauled to shore and women are busy sorting out the catch and fishing boats are lining up and waiting to depart.
8:00AM Returning back to the resort and having breakfast.
10:00AM Visiting Poshanu Cham tower - once a hallmark of the prosperous Champa kingdom that thrived in this region from around the 7th century to 1832, the Poshanu Cham Towers from the late 8th to early 9th century are perched on a hilltop with views of Phan Thiet and the distant coastline. On site are three towers. Inside the main one is a linga and yoni monolith dedicated to Lord Shiva. The two other towers are devoted to the fire deity Agni and the buffalo deity Nandi.
Afterward, it is free time for swimming and sunbathing.
At noon, checking out the resort and proceeding to the resort’s restaurant, have lunch.
At 01:00PM tour guide and driver will transfer you to go Ho Chi Minh City.
5:00PM reach Ho Chi Minh’s city. Check in hotel and relax.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh
Day 3: Mekong Delta Full Day/Lunch/Overnight in HCM (Lunch).
8:30AM Departing from your hotel for My Tho city by air-conditioned car. In My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, Vĩnh Tràng Chùa is a Buddhist temple near Mỹ Tho in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. It is one of the best-known temples in the region. The temple stands on a 2 hectares (5 acres) block filled with fruit trees in the village of Mỹ Hóa in the town of Mỹ Phong, on the banks of the Bảo Định canal.
After that you will be boarding the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River. Here, overlooking floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house (viewing from the motorboat).
Continuing the journey on the river until reaching Cồn Thới Sơn (Unicorn Island), from here taking a horse cart to reach a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) can be heard and seasonal tropical fruit can be tasted (included).
Afterward, being on a small hand-rowing boat (the main mean of transportation in My Tho & Ben Tre) and slowly cruising through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives from both sides of the creek can be observed.Before heading to lunch, passing through bee-keeping farm and enjoying honey tea, a typical Mekong house can be viewed here.
Then, it is lunch time after a short walk. After lunch, boarding the motorboat and heading to learn coconut candies making process from a workshop. Sample of candies can be tasted. Returning back to bus and going back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Overnight in HCM city.
Day 4: Cu Chi Tunnels & Cao Dai Temple/ Overnight in HCM (Lunch)
07:45AM Departing from TheSinhTourist office to Cao Dai Temple where daily Mass is held by Cao Dai’s followers at noon. Cao Dai is the combination of Confucianism, Christianity, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterward, have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
02:00PM Arriving at Cu Chi tunnels (Ben Dinh) and proceeding to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels before having a real hand-on experience of what it took to live in the tunnels. Afterward, test tasting the steamed tapioca rootwhich is the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war. For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real ammunitions at the nearby shooting range.
Overnight in HCM city.
Day 5: HCM City Tour/ Transfer to airport (Lunch)
9:30AM we pick you up from your hotel for City tour. Housed in a former United States administration building and formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, the War Remnants Museum is the most popular museum of Ho Chi Minh City. It gathers a collection of the machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation of Vietnam’s wars.
Stop by the Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the most spectacularly colorful temples, dedicated to King of Heaven and filled with exquisite and phantasmal statues.
12:30AM Enjoying Vietnamese lunch at local restaurant.
1:30PM Visit Tan Dinh Pink Church. Tân Định church (Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus) is a church built during the French colonial period in the 1880s when Vietnam was part of French Indochina.
2:45PM Visit Notre Dame Cathedral. Located next to each other and right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City,Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office are two of the best highlights of old Saigon architecture.
4:00PM Visit Coffe Apartment, enjoy local coffee at The Maker Coffee Shop.
After that tour guide and driver will take you go to the airport.
